Free with ads
Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Plex and Freevee carry many films and full runs of older series free with short ad breaks. Pluto TV even has channels that play one series around the clock.
How Watch Now shows them
Open any title, pick your country, and Watch Now lists the free options whenever there are some. The procedurals and sitcoms are the likeliest.
Library services
Kanopy and Hoopla stream free with a library card in many countries.
New releases
New movies and new seasons usually start on a subscription service and reach the free ones later. Add them to My List and check back.
