Switching them on
Subtitles live in the player of the service you open with Watch Now. Tap the speech-bubble icon for Audio and Subtitles and choose a language. Nearly every show has English subtitles and closed captions.
Anime and Bollywood
The anime films, from Spirited Away to Your Name., and the Bollywood shelf, from Dangal to Dhurandhar, are lovely in their original language with subtitles, and many also offer dubbed audio.
Size and style
Most apps let you enlarge subtitles and add a background in their settings.
Accessibility
Look for CC or AD in the same menu for closed captions and audio description.
